What is the Homesick Collective?
The Homesick Collective isn’t really anything. It’s a bunch of band’s I (Blake Luley) have been involved with. You can call it a label if you’d like. We will be releasing some things shortly. You can really call it whatever you’d like.

Sweet! Thanks! and yes, we do need to start tumblin’ more.
Howth - White Lights
This Howth album is one of the loveliest listens I’ve had the pleasure of stumbling upon so far this year. There is something so relaxing and rewarding about it. It’s been on the headphones for quite some time now and I’ve only grown more pleased with it the more spins I give it. It’s early in the year, but I can see it being on my end of year favourites.
Another testament to the high level of brilliance stemming from Minnesota.
You can —and should— grab it for yourself over on their Bandcamp page (it’s a ‘pay what you like’ download). If you want a physical copy, you’ll need to act quick as their are only a few left. They’ve also got a Tumblr (though they haven’t done much Tumblng yet).
Toytrain is played on BBC Introducing with Tom Robinson!
BBC Introducing with Tom Robinson is a show that plays new up and coming artists they’ve discovered. On this weeks episode they played Toytrain’s single “Blackberry Pie” from the Allie, Don’t Let Me Disappear EP! The announcer is a middle aged British man and he talks about how the song combines Lil Wayne’s production and ‘90’s Shoegaze with ambient Sigur Ros elements. It’s pretty entertaining! It’s only up for stream for 2 more days though!
Neon Musical Insight reviews Howth's first single "Needles and Pins"

2/15 @ The Sidewalk Cafe

(If you were one of the few folks to catch a Presby Kids show during there very short summer long existence, you’ll be excited about the live Howth line up! Carl Creighton- Guitar, Vocals + Blake Luley- Drums, Keyboards + Jesse Newkirk- Guitar)
